Cherie De Ville is spending the day with her stepdaughter, Emma Hix. Emma's thrilled to finally have some alone time with her stepmother. When she tries to talk to her she realizes that she's on the phone with a client again. She spent a lot of time organizing this day and doesn't want to share her with anyone. Emma is tired of her always being on the phone. This is their day and all she wants is her attention. When Emma makes a passive aggressive comment, Cherie asks her what's wrong.
